Who We Are

Educational Dream Achievers is nonprofit organization that provides year-round programming in a safe and stimulating environment to help youth reach their full potential.
We offer programs that combine academic work with activities that promote cultural awareness and build self-worth.

It addresses one of the most pressing problems that our country faces: the persistent achievement gap among low income children.

Owner/President
Jayne Wiltshire Joyner - native of Lake Wales, Florida

Jayne has extensive experience working in technical, business, and educational environments providing consulting, project management and problem solving assistance. She is skilled at delivering complex information to youth and students in elementary schools through community colleges. 

Jayne has a M.A. in Adult Education and B.S. in Computer Information Systems from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. She has ESL Certification, Reading Certification, Business Certification 6 – 12, and Computer Science Certification K-12. She has thirty years of experience in technical, business and educational environments. She has worked with youth from elementary school through community college. She is an instructor at Everett Community College , Educational Consultant and oversees the Greater Trinity Tutorial Program.

She is currently a Senior Associate Professor in the Early Education and Education Department and Transitional Studies Department at Everett Community College in Everett, Washington. She teaches a variety of classes including Introduction to Early Education, Child Development, Family Dynamics, Guiding Behavior,  Child Family and Community, Art ad Story Telling and Introduction to Education. 

Her past career experience includes Account Services Specialist, Senior Registrar Officer, Business Systems Analyst, Network Administrator, Media Specialist, Technology Resource Specialist and Computer Science and Business Technology Instructor. 

She is active in the community working with non-profit and faith based organizations and presently serves on the Board of Directors for Rise Up Academhy and Marysville Y of Snohomish County.

An important aspect of her life is family—her husband (Boeing Engineer), three sons and one grandadughter.

What We Offer

The Enrichment Academy provides families and their 5-14 year old children with summer programming in a safe and stimulating environment. We offer:

1. Learning is fun in our programs, as we incorporate creativity and technology into our reading and math lessons.

2. Opportunities – Enrichment Academy kids have the opportunity to expand their world, enrich their ethnic identify, meet successful, caring adults, make friends with other youth and give back to the community.

3. Summer Academy for twelve weeks during the summer break.

Our Funding

Currently, the principal funding for Enrichment Academy and for general operating expenses is dependent on contributions by generous companies, civic organizations, foundations and individuals.
